On My Nook: Remember Me?

Oct 11, 2012

If you want a quick easy read Remember Me by Sophia Kinsella is it. Its cute funny and to the point, one of my favorite chick-lit books. Imagine you were 25 years old one minute, with a sucky job, a loser boyfriend, not enough money to have the fabulous wardrobe you believe you deserve and all you look forward to is Friday night drinks with friends. Then the next minute you wake up 28 years old, with the most wonderful job, beautiful husband, and perfect apartment.
This is what happens to Lexi Smart. She's picked on her whole life for not being the prettiest or most ambitious person and then boom she wakes up in to the perfect life. Lexi hits her head in an accident and forgets the last three years of her life. So, she's left trying to figure out how in the world she ended up with this perfect life and if it really is all that perfect. She can't remember anything but for some reason she doesn't know why, but her husbands architect seems really familiar. I don't want to give too much away because its a really cute fun read if you want to lift your spirits.

  5. Aw, seems like a feelgood book, although if I were her, I would prefer to be able to experience the process from a sucky life to a perfect one. That's where you find your happiness.

  6. OMG, Sophie Kinsella was one of the first authors I read when I got into reading again like 4-5 years ago. I have read this book and her shopaholic series up until Shopaholic and Baby. My favorite all time Sophie Kinsella book is Can You Keep a Secret? Have you read it? Soooo freaking laugh out loud funny. My other favorite is The Undomestic Goddess. Really good too!
    Thanks for stopping by :)
