It wouldn't be right to keep blogging about fashion without addressing chaos Hurricane Sandy has left behind. A lot of us New Yorkers didn't take it seriously like we didn't take Irene seriously and stayed put even though a lot of areas were ordered to be evacuated. Now, a lot of people are stuck in these areas that were ordered to be evacuated and in danger. I hope this teaches us to just let our pride go and when it comes to mother nature listen because she can not be fully predicted.
I guess you can say I am one of the lucky ones who still has her power and heat and no serious danger has happened to and I am extremely grateful for this. I have spent the last few days at home family bonding and catching up on planning posts for this blog. Hopefully, the trains and buses start working soon so we can all get to work and continue our everyday lives.
The economy was bad as it was and now it is said this hurricane can cost up to $50 billion to repair. For those of you that would like to donate you can do so at the American Red Cross website. Or you can text REDCROSS to number 90999.
I'm so glad to hear you are safe! It was so sad and frightening just watching it on tv :( I pray for those who were affected and will def be making a donation.
