You know how we all drag ourselves out of bed every Monday morning like "Ugh!".
Maybe if we didn't wake up like that and try to keep positive maybe the rest of the
week will go by smoother. I know its hard but with a little effort we can think of
whatever we are looking forward to this week and it may give us that extra push
we need to keep a smile on our faces.
Anyways, without getting too "philosophical" on you guys just try to be positive or
at least don't be such a debbie downer about everything and maybe just maybe
you'll attract more positive vibes.

Today is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Make it not just a good one but an amazing one.
I've already decided 2014 will be my year. I know we all say this on New Years but I am committed
to make this my year. My faith in god and everything is bigger and stronger now. I don't consider
myself religious, I consider myself spiritual in the sense that I believe in staying positive and letting
go.And most importantly I believe in not judging others and believing in the impossible because everything is possible if we keep positive.
I am making my own list of things I want to improve on in 2014 but this was a fun simple one I
stumbled upon on Pinterest I felt we all can kind of relate to. Every year I make list of goals for
myself and I may not accomplish everything but when I look at the year that passed I see the
difference in myself and feel better because I did accomplish certain things. And all this does is
give me more confidence that I can accomplish even more the next year. So sit down and right
your list of goals.

I just got engaged to my best friend, I have a great job and successful career ahead of me, a caring family, a close-knit group of amazing friends, my good health, a home to go to every day, a bright
future ahead, my very own first apartment to decorate, a wedding to plan and my faith in god will
keep growing everyday letting my know a shift is coming and 2014 will be AWESOME !
This is the beginning of forever to me and I wish all of you a very Happy New Year !!!

Enough said ! You can dream all you want about accomplishing things but unless you get
out of bed and make things happen they're aren't going to magically occur. With hard work
comes a large payoff. It may take time but think of this way, this is something I have always
thought to feel better about where I'm at in life. "The harder your life is now the more fabulous
and great it will be later."

Preach ! Ain't that the truth. Courage, a word so easy to say but sometimes not so easy to
act out. But I couldn't agree with this quote more. Once you take that step of courage and
do what makes you happy without caring what others say you finally become yourself.
And you're finally able to be happy with a sense of complete freedom.

Yes, my lovelies the day has come. It's officially the first day of New York Fashion Week, so if you
see gorgeous statuesque looking women running around the city they're probably on their way to
Lincoln Center to strut the runway. There's going to be so many shows and fabulous events
going on all week, which will mostly be documented online for all us fashion bloggers to
get some well needed inspiration from.

People who aren't into fashion love to question those who are. They love to ask why is it so important?
Why is this color for this season and not that season? Why pay so much for that one item? Why put

Next time you find yourself complaining about your life or about how you wish your life was, think about that little quote above. "We are what we repeatedly do". If you waste your time complaining or feeling sorry about yourself that's all your going to be doing because you're not thinking about ways to change it. Nobody can solve any problem for you, you have to do it yourself. Yes, sometimes life sucks and we go through sucky (I know that's not a word but I just made it one) situations but you know what you deal with it move on and think about how much better life will be afterwards. I definitely have fallen victim to being a debbie downer but I catch myself and just try to think of the positive even though that is hard to do sometimes.

It has been a week since that horrible event at the Boston Marathon. Its been a stressful, devastating, heroic, and full of anxiety type of week. It truly does suck that events like these is what bring people together, but nonetheless we are together in this. All we can do is hope and pray that these type of things stop. I know there is not such thing as a perfect world but we can hope or at least be more cautious of our surroundings and those around us. We can hope to detect malice before it happens but without becoming maliciously judgmental ourselves.

Over the summer I had posted about my little man Rhys here, my little red head, my meatball, my nephew, my godson and his heart condition and how he overcame it. But now his wonderful father, my brother-in-law, has written this beautiful illustrated book telling his and my sister's journey with this little bundle of joy. I must say my sister is one lucky lady with this guy. This was a perfect gift for their family and I can't wait to get my copy in the mail already.

While in school I always thought I knew exactly what type of career I wanted but now being in the quote on quote real world you realize things change. I wanted that top job that everyone would be like wow that's your job, you know the predictable one. I believe this saying so much now after getting a job I never thought I would want or like and now absolutely loving it. I got my current job while in college through a friends recommendation. I hated the job at first because it was your typical bottom of the ladder job, but I loved the people I worked with. So, I figured if only I could also love what I did. I took notes, asked a lot of questions and eventually became interested in sales. When I graduated I knew I wanted to do something creative in the product development field. Never would I have thought I'd be doing sales, someone who hates to socialize if she doesn't have too. But I love it so far, I get to work with awesome people and create jewelry and accessories for their specific customers. I knew my job had potential so I stopped being negative, worked my way up and created my perfect job : )

Amen ! Definitely ! You have to go through hard times in order to make it to your best. Because lets face it nothing in life is free, everything comes with a cost. So, whenever I'm going through a tough time I just like to think to myself "Damn my life is just going to be fabulous one day", and I suck it up and deal.

This quote says it all, all I ever want to do. I want to live life, meet new people, travel the world and see wonderful things happen. I love the way F. Scott Fitzgerald can some up so much in to such few words. The Great Gatsby is a great story if you guys want to read one of his books, plus the movie comes out in May and I can't wait the trailer looks so good, see below:

It's Monday and its crunch time. This year I gave myself a gym membership as a christmas gift and last week I slacked. So today is a new day and I'm up early and ready to go. I'm not striving to be skinny, I'm striving to be healthy and feel good in anything I wear. I mean wouldn't it be great to go shopping and love how everything you try on looks on you right ?

Because if you didn't life would be really mundane and who wants to live an uneventful life. Currently, at my job I am trying to pursue sales something I have never done before. Its a bit scary because you're putting yourself out there for rejection. But I keep telling myself what's the worst a buyer can do just say no not interested in your collection right now. So, all I can do is take that as encouragement to work on a better collection and hopefully get further next time. On Wednesday, I'm going to Los Angeles and I'm so excited. Even though its my fourth time there its always fun to travel, plus I 'm helping out a fellow co-worker on his appointment so maybe I pick up a few tricks to help me with my strategy. Oh, and my other favorite co-worker is going too so we're just gonna eat, shop and hopefully tan is the weather permits.

I tell myself this every morning. For Christmas I gave myself a gym membership and I'm loving it so far. The first couple of days was hard but now I'm catching momentum. The feeling you have of accomplishment after you have a good work out is the best feeling. Plus, I still get to eat everything I want just put in longer hours at the gym.
