Better late than never. New York Fashion Week was a couple of weeks ago but I've been so 

busy with work and a little thing called "life" that blogging has taken the back burner. But slowly

and surely I will start to blog more once I settle into these new changes life has brought me.

So, here is an outfit I wore to watch the Anna Sui show (my first real fashion show I was able 

to attend as a non intern but as a "fashionista").

through the H&M website wanting to shop. As I sit here very nice and toasty I've decided slip on 

sneakers will be my Spring go-to shoes. Now I just hope it stops snowing long enough to wear one 

of these eventually.

Wedding Wednesday: Truly Zac Posen for David's Bridal

What bride would not love to have a designer dress and not have to spend the designer bucks?

Umm, this one here thank you very much. Zac Posen is a young talented women's wear designer

known for his beautiful constructed gowns resembling the likes of Dior and Balenciaga. The details

in his designs give a hint of vintage appeal but his colors and fabrics modernize them.

Zac Posen is not new to collaborations, he previous teamed up with Target for a ready-to-wear

collection. This collection for David's Bridal that launched this month features wedding gowns

ranging from $850 to $1,350. And social occasion dress for bridesmaids or prom ranging from

$195 to $225.

Above are a couple of my favorites. How gorgeous is that lavender one in the middle?!

With Valentine's day quickly approaching I thought I'd post a "Date Night" outfit.

One of my favorite sites is ModCloth you can finds a complete outfit at a reasonable 

price here. Plus, their vintage inspired dresses are ADORABLE! Date nights I feel

give relationships a boost of confidence. If you're feeling down about yourself there 

is nothing better than quality time with the person that can always life your spirits.

Fashion Scoop: Peter Pilotto for Target

Target does it again !

I got my 3.1 Phillip Lim bag and now I need great Peter Pilotto printed piece. Which I will get

 my hands on come February 9, 2014. Just a little tip to you online shoppers like myself. For the

last designer collaboration with Target I went online at 12am thinking everything would be on sale

 but in reality nothing goes on sale until like 3am (12am pacific time) from my experience. So for 

those of you out there itching to get a piece from this collection set your alarms for 2am - 3am to

be safe. I'd much rather wake up and shop in the comfort of my own bed for an hour than go to 

a store hoping they have at least on piece of the collection in my size.

Can't wait to get a sweatshirt, and a skirt and maybe a bathing suit and some sneakers too !

Wedding Wednesday: You're engaged! Now what?

My first installment of Wedding Wednesday woop woop !

I don't think you guys know how excited I am to be able to finally write about wedding inspiration.
As exciting as wedding planning maybe if you're not organized and let planning take over your life it
becomes stressful. I've only been engaged a little over a month and I'm feeling the stress just thinking
about expenses and future plans. So, I just want to share my journey with you guys and if any of you
know of any cool helpful websites feel free to tell me, all the tips and inspirations are truly appreciated.

So, you've waited for this moment "The Ring", now what? Getting the ring was the easy part girl now
it's time to actually plan. But there's no need to freak out because engagements can be long and in the
course of a year or two you can definitely plan a gorgeous wedding without losing your mind. Listen to
me talking about this like I know, anyways after you tell all your loved ones the good news its
time you sit down with that lovely person that gave you that gorgeous sparkler and get to planning.

First, just agree on a wedding date range. You know like, are you more of a summer or winter
wedding girl? Picking a season is always good because you can start brainstorming possible decor.
Even getting down to the year is better because you have a specific time span. And if you can
agree on an actual date even better so start that countdown.

Next, budget. Don't freak out relax you have enough time to save no need to get hitched tomorrow.
Decide on a budget you're both comfortable with and then be sure to budget in a 10% to 20% overage
because usually lets be honest weddings go a little bit over and this way there will be no surprises.

And now, the fun part INSPIRATION ! I love me some Pinterest. Call me young, naive whatever you
want but I don't know what brides-to-be did before Pinterest. I know there're magazines and you can
tear out sheets which I have done so already. But having millions of images at your finger tips and just
having to 'click' and viola it's in your own wedding inspiration board is so easy. Don't get me wrong
magazines are great inspiration but don't sleep on those wedding sites and blogs there are so many
amazing ones. Just to name a few: Style Me Pretty, Once Wed, Snippet & Ink, Grey Likes Weddings,
Brooklyn Bride, and Enfianced.

Lastly, enjoy yourself and your significant other throughout the whole process because this is suppose
to be a fun time in your life. Ultimately something you will remember for the rest of your life and its
a blessing to have a beautiful wedding memory.

It's Drool-Worthy Gown Season !

As much as I love watching movies and listening to music I think I love watching stars walk the 

red carpet more than watching them receive awards. Looking at celebrities strut down the red carpet 

is probably as close as most of us will get to watching high fashion gowns in "real life". So yeah 

these are my favorites from last Saturday's SAG Awards. I usually post about the Golden Globes 

but I wasn't crazy about any of those gowns and you know what they say "If you have nothing 

nice to say then don't say anything at all".

Because It's Cold Outside: Winter Essentials

Okay its serious out there guys like my my tears and boogers froze type of cold. Today I have on 

two pairs of leggings under a pair of jeans, a tee with a flannel over it and two sweaters plus my 

coat and I was still cold ! Anyways, here are a couple of things I think we should all have for 

brutally cold days:

•  A warm coat, duh
• Some type of snow boots
• Thick scarf and socks
• Moisturizing lip balm
• Extra strength face moisturizer
• Hand cream because nobody likes flaky skin

Bundle up kiddies we're in for a COLD winter.

2014 - Create Your Amazing Destiny !

Today is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Make it not just a good one but an amazing one.

I've already decided 2014 will be my year. I know we all say this on New Years but I am committed

to make this my year. My faith in god and everything is bigger and stronger now. I don't consider

myself religious, I consider myself spiritual in the sense that I believe in staying positive and letting 

go.And most importantly I believe in not judging others and believing in the impossible because everything is possible if we keep positive.

I am making my own list of things I want to improve on in 2014 but this was a fun simple one I

stumbled upon on Pinterest I felt we all can kind of relate to. Every year I make list of goals for

myself and I may not accomplish everything but when I look at the year that passed I see the 

difference in myself and feel better because I did accomplish certain things. And all this does is 

give me more confidence that I can accomplish even more the next year. So sit down and right

your list of goals.

Definitely !

I just got engaged to my best friend, I have a great job and successful career ahead of me, a caring family, a close-knit group of amazing friends, my good health, a home to go to every day, a bright

future ahead, my very own first apartment to decorate, a wedding to plan and my faith in god will

keep growing everyday letting my know a shift is coming and 2014 will be AWESOME !

This is the beginning of forever to me and I wish all of you a very Happy New Year !!!

A Little Inspiration . . .

Enough said ! You can dream all you want about accomplishing things but unless you get

out of bed and make things happen they're aren't going to magically occur. With hard work

comes a large payoff. It may take time but think of this way, this is something I have always
