As I was checking out the new items at Nasty Gal I came across delicate floral dress that I wish I would have worn today if I had access to it of course. I've had these Roman Block Heel Lace Up Open Toe Sandal Boots in my eBay cart for the longest and I think its time I purchase them. I want them both in black and beige to be able to wear them with anything. I think they are so versatile, they can be worn with a flimsy dress like the one above or with boyfriend jeans and a slouchy tee. They're like the perfect starter heel for me since I don't wear heels and I gotta stop wearing so many flats. So, yeah if I could wear whatever I wanted it'd be all the items above.

If you're addicted shopping or just love instant gratification without having to break the bank, then pick me ups are great for you. I don't know about you but I love going in a convenience store like Duane Reade or Walgreens buying beauty stuff. I've been wanting to try the new Revlon Lash Potion every beauty guru on Youtube is raving about. Also, the check sections near the cash registers at Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters have great stuff. I know their there to purposely make you want to shop but you know what they work. I wish Nasty Gal was an actual physical store so I can pick up those nail wraps like now.

Okay, okay so I know we're like in the middle of a heat wave in the east coast but tell me this moto jacket isn't CUTE ! I'm trying a new thing here where you think of what you want in hopes that you get it, you know the whole keep positive, attract what you want type of mind frame. Hence, the jacket. I want it to get cooler because the heat is driving me crazy and my poor dog can't handle his fur anymore, so I dream of wearing jackets because it makes me think of cool Fall breezes, which I miss so much at the moment.

The little tomboy in me is so happy with this on-going trend. To get me in a dress is a difficult task in its self and to get me out of sneakers thats another battle of its own. But I guess since I'm technically an adult now I gotta stop dressing like I'm still in high school. So, I simply love this trend as a compromise. I can wear dresses and still feel comfortable because I get to wear my sneakers. One day I may actually set foot outside my house with a dress and heels on without having to go to a special occasion, oh my ! If you knew me personally, you'd want to take a picture because it may not happen again.

Things That Made Me Smile: Miami & Weddings

Thought I'd share with you guys somethings happening in my life lately. As you know from my previous post I was in Miami for work and enjoyed some fun in the sun. I ate so much while over there but burned it all off with by just walking in that heat. You guys should definitely try Sushi Samba, its amazing. Its like my new favorite restaurant right now. Sushi Samba is a mix of Brazilian, Japanese, and Peruvian food. And I am now officially obsessed with Peruvian coconut rice.

While in Miami I was missing my baby Kobe, that little cute-looking teddy bear you see up there, like crazy ! And a couple of weeks ago I celebrated my 7th anniversary with my lovely boyfriend : ) But what I'm really excited for is my brother's wedding in just two weeks. How cute are their custom-made Yankee jersey's with their wedding date?! Don't get me wrong I'm excited he's getting married and all but mostly its because the wedding will be in the beautiful Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Yup, my homeland and I'm excited to have fun and celebrate with family and friends.
